School Introduction - UoSM
The University of Southampton Malaysia was established at the invitation of the Malaysian government and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education in EduCity, Johor, Malaysia. EduCity is also the first multi campus education city in Asia. The Malaysia campus is also the seventh directly affiliated campus of the University of Southampton in the UK, and the only overseas campus. The Malaysia campus shares rankings with the UK headquarters. The university is only a few minutes away from Singapore, an international first tier city and world financial center. The Malaysian campus opened in October 2012, offering excellent undergraduate degrees in engineering. In 2016, the first batch of Malaysian campus students graduated with excellent grades and received excellent degree grades. Nowadays, the University of Southampton in Malaysia offers subject majors including foundation courses, computer science, engineering, and business.
