Introduction

    The Malaysia Association for the Promotion of Education and Culture (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") is a nationwide non-profit organization officially approved by the Registrar of Societies of the Malaysian government, with the registration number PPM-036-14-16102023. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, the Association is primarily dedicated to promoting Malaysian education and culture abroad, as well as fostering international exchange and cooperation. With a core mission of advancing the globalization of Malaysia’s education sector and showcasing its multicultural charm, the Association aims to serve as a bridge connecting Malaysia with other regions around the world in the fields of education and culture.

    Since its establishment, the Association has been committed to international educational and cultural exchange by organizing various academic forums, scholar exchange programs, and cultural exchange activities. These efforts aim to enhance the educational and cultural development between Malaysia and the international community. The Association serves as a communication and cooperation platform for Malaysian institutions to engage with foreign counterparts, promoting multi-level and diversified international cooperation among educational institutions. Through a variety of approaches, it facilitates the sharing of international educational resources between countries and jointly cultivates talents with a global perspective, familiarity with international norms, and the ability to participate in international affairs and competition.

 Objectives

    Promoting Malaysian Educational Resources: Introducing Malaysia’s high-quality primary, secondary, and higher education systems to the global audience, enhancing international recognition of Malaysian education.

Fostering Cultural Exchange: Showcasing Malaysia's unique multiculturalism through cultural promotion, thereby strengthening international understanding and friendship.

    Facilitating International Integration: Assisting the Malaysian education system in aligning with global standards to enhance its international influence.

Mission

    Organizing International Academic and Cultural Exchange Events: Hosting diverse activities such as forums, lectures, and seminars to bring together experts and scholars in education and culture from Malaysia and abroad to discuss emerging trends.

    Establishing Inter-Institutional Collaboration Platforms: Actively promoting partnerships between Malaysian and international educational institutions, including joint programs, academic exchanges, and teacher-student exchange initiatives to create broader opportunities.

    Promoting Malaysian Culture: Presenting Malaysia’s rich cultural resources to the world through art exhibitions, cultural performances, and festivals.

    Providing Consultation and Support: Offering professional advice and information to individuals and organizations interested in studying in or collaborating with Malaysia.

Vision

    The Association strives to be the global representative of Malaysian education and culture, contributing to the internationalization of Malaysia’s education sector and cultural industries. Through its efforts, the Association aims to raise global awareness and appreciation of Malaysian education and culture.
