School Introduction - UKM
The National University of Malaysia was established in 1970 and is one of the five research universities in Malaysia. It is also the third public university in the country. The university is renowned throughout Southeast Asia and the world, and its diplomas and degrees are widely recognized internationally. In the 2026 QS World University Rankings, it is ranked 126th. Currently, there are over 1,500 international students from all over the world pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs in various fields. The National University of Malaysia is also among the few universities globally to receive a five-star rating from QS in all aspects, including sports facilities, medical facilities, clubs, and accommodation, achieving a comprehensive five-star ranking.
