The Polytechnic University of Malaysia is one of the most renowned national universities in Malaysia (one of the top five national institutions in Malaysia, ranked 153th in the QS World Ranking 2026). The main campus of the university is located in Johor, Johor Bahru, at the southern end of West Malaysia, covering an area of 1177 hectares. In addition, there is a campus (graduate school, ranked 8th in Asia) in the center of Kuala Lumpur, covering an area of 38 hectares. In terms of academic exchanges, the Polytechnic University has established extensive connections with many world-renowned universities such as Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Tsinghua University, and has cooperated and exchanged with more than 50 academic institutions around the world. The Malaysian Polytechnic University has been rated as a QS five-star university for several consecutive years and has the potential to impact the top 500 universities in the field of academic research.
