University of Science Malaysia, ranked 134th by QS in 2026, is a top comprehensive research university in Malaysia, with outstanding achievements in medicine, science, and engineering. This is consistent with its vision of becoming a world-class institution of higher education. From the perspectives of admission difficulty, social reputation, and school status, the University of Science Malaysia is widely recognized as the second ranked prestigious university in Malaysia. With a large campus and beautiful environment, it is known as the Garden University of Asia. There are three campuses in total, with the main campus (also known as Minden campus) and engineering campus located on Penang Island and the mainland part of Penang, respectively. The second campus is the School of Medicine, School of Dentistry and Health Care, located in Kelantan on the eastern coast of Malaysia. The University of Science Malaysia has 28 colleges, 26 research centers, 8 research platforms, and 10 service centers.
