Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) is the 19th public university in Malaysia, established by the Cabinet on June 14, 2006 in the state of Kelantan located on the Malaysian peninsula. Since its establishment, UMK has had nearly 10000 registered students, including undergraduate and master's students, and over 1200 academic and non academic employees. Our main academic faculty members are trained at world-renowned universities, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, and other European countries, with 36 academic faculty members from foreign countries. The university has sufficient facilities and infrastructure to support teaching and learning, research and innovation, including classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, studios, laboratories, student accommodation, recreational activities, sports, university transportation, health centers, and other services. On the science campus, there are science laboratories that conduct teaching and research together with field laboratories, farms, commercial malls, and incubators. Similar facilities are also available on other campuses to support teaching work.
