School Introduction - UNIMAS

    The University of Sarawak in Malaysia is one of the 20 key public universities trained by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, and the eighth public university in Malaysia. UNIMAS is located in Sarawak, East Malaysia, and is the largest and top ranked comprehensive university in eastern Malaysia. After more than ten years of development, the university has over 20000 students and more than 2000 faculty and staff. The university's main teaching and research directions are focused on multiple fields such as biotechnology, resource science, information technology, social science development, natural resources and environmental management. It has a complete undergraduate, master's, and doctoral training system and mainly consists of 11 colleges, including the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, the School of Cognitive Science and Human Development, the School of Economics and Business, the Department of Engineering, the School of Applied and Creative Arts, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the School of Resource Science and Technology, the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, the School of Built Environment, the School of Language and Communication, and the University Preparatory College.
