Guoyou University of Science and Technology is a private research university located in Perak, Malaysia. It was established on January 10, 1997. The campus is located in Seri Iskandar, Malaysia, covering an area of 400 hectares (990 acres). UTP collaborates with Petronas and other local and overseas institutions and industries to conduct extensive research activities in six key research areas, including self sustainable buildings, transportation infrastructure, health analysis, hydrocarbon recovery, pollution management, and autonomous systems. UTP has world-class equipment, advanced technology, and abundant research resources, making it suitable for high-intensity research; UTP also has the most beautiful library in Malaysia. Guoyou University of Science and Technology has centralized sports facilities, commonly known as sports complexes. It includes a swimming pool, several football fields, three five-a-side football fields, three rattan courts, five basketball courts, five tennis courts, three volleyball courts, four squash courts, three badminton courts, one jogging track, and one basketball court.
