Malaysia's Quest International University delegation visits Luohe Food Engineering Vocational University
Jointly seeking a new chapter in cooperative education
On the afternoon of the 15th, the Joint Management Committee of the China Malaysia Cooperative Education Project held its first meeting. Both parties had in-depth discussions on issues such as enrollment, training, faculty selection, student enrollment and employment planning, internships in China, and cooperation in study abroad programs for cooperative education projects. They reached a broad consensus and signed cooperation agreements for related projects. At the meeting, the "Rules of Procedure of the Joint Management Committee for Sino Malaysian Cooperative Education Projects" and the "Sino Malaysian Teacher Student Exchange Agreement" were reviewed and approved. The successful convening of this meeting has clarified the direction of the cooperative education project between the two schools, solved practical problems, and provided strong support for the smooth implementation of the project.
During the visit, representatives from Quest International University also held discussions with well-known enterprises in Luohe. Enterprise representatives exchanged ideas with the two schools on topics such as education with output, integration of industry and education, and international cooperation between schools and enterprises. Enterprise representatives expressed their expectation for the cooperation between the two schools to cultivate more high-quality skilled talents that meet market demand, injecting new impetus into the development of the industry.
The visit of the delegation from Universiti Malaysia International University has built a bridge for cooperation between the two universities. Our school will take this visit as an opportunity to promote in-depth cooperation with Chinese enterprises in Malaysia and countries along the "the Belt and Road" on the basis of cooperation in running schools, and jointly cultivate international high skilled talents and local skilled talents urgently needed by Chinese enterprises. To contribute to improving the level of international cooperation and influence of vocational education in our province, promoting the internationalization of vocational education, and serving the construction of the "the Belt and Road".
