The Sino-Malaysia University-Enterprise Traditional Chinese Medicine Cooperation Project is underway

After multiple rounds of on-site communication and negotiation between the Malaysian Association for the Promotion of Education and Culture and the China office Dongyi Cultural Industry Group, Shandong Medical Technician College and Malaysia's Indi International University have officially reached a cooperation agreement on traditional Chinese medicine education. The cooperation project has now officially launched comprehensive enrollment, with classes starting in the autumn of 2026 and an initial plan to recruit 30 students.

The program of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Yingdi International University lasts for 5 years, including 1 year of clinical internship. The entire course is mainly taught in Chinese, and during the study period, students must return to China to complete internships and practical training at well-known medical institutions such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The enrollment of this project covers a wide range of people. Shandong Medical Technician College is currently enrolled in intermediate, senior, and preparatory technician programs, and holds certificates in traditional Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, nursing, and other intermediate and senior technician programs. Graduates with equivalent academic qualifications from high schools or vocational schools can also apply; New students can flexibly plan their course system based on their educational background, age, and other factors. They can first study relevant professional courses at Shandong Medical Technician College (tuition fees are fully waived during their studies), and upon enrollment, they can receive a pre admission letter for the undergraduate program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Indie International University. After graduation, they can go to Malaysia to study this subject; Students who meet the age, language, and pre educational requirements can also directly attend the undergraduate program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Indie International University.

Malaysia's Indi International University has been included in the Ministry of Education's foreign supervision whitelist, and its academic qualifications are officially certified by the China Scholarship Council. Graduates can obtain a Chinese medicine technician degree and a nationally recognized undergraduate degree in Chinese medicine. You can apply for positions as a practicing physician, civil servant, state-owned enterprise or central enterprise in China, and also have the qualification to apply for the Commonwealth physician qualification. There are broad channels for employment and further education. The project relies on the exchange of educational resources between China and Malaysia to create a cost-effective international pathway for Chinese medicine education and talent development.
