On May 21, 2026, a delegation from Setya University Malaysia, organized by the China Office of the Malaysian Association for the Promotion of Education and Culture, went to Shandong University of Technology for educational cooperation, exchange and negotiation. The two sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as international cooperation in education and joint talent training, and jointly sought a new path for the internationalization of education.
At the exchange meeting, representatives from Shandong University of Technology and Malaysia's Setya University successively introduced the school's educational characteristics, advantageous disciplines, faculty construction, and international development layout, focusing on exchanging opinions on cooperation directions such as academic visits, teacher-student exchanges, and joint training. Both parties have conducted detailed discussions on Sino foreign cooperative education projects at the master's and doctoral levels, and have reached a clear intention to deepen cooperation. They have agreed to establish a regular communication and docking mechanism, strengthen collaborative linkage, steadily promote the implementation of various cooperation contents, and ensure the orderly development of talent joint training, academic research cooperation and other sectors.
This visit is the second stop of the exchange program organized by the Malaysian Association for the Promotion of Education and Culture for Setya University in China. Relying on the resource and platform advantages of Dongyi Cultural Industry Group, the China office of the association, which has deeply cultivated the domestic education field, the association will continue to build a bridge for exchanges between Chinese and Malaysian universities, organize more high-quality Malaysian universities to visit and cooperate in China, promote the exchange of educational resources and cultural integration between China and Malaysia, help domestic universities broaden their international channels of education, and inject new vitality into Sino foreign education exchanges and cooperation in the new era.
