On April 22, 2026, a delegation from the China Office of the Malaysian Association for Education and Cultural Promotion visited Universiti Utara Malaysia to engage in educational exchange and cooperation discussions.

At the symposium, the university highlighted the achievements in building its flagship programs such as clinical medicine, business administration, and accounting and finance, sharing experiences in discipline accreditation, faculty development, and internationalization. Both parties exchanged updates on recent progress, systematically reviewed the long-term and stable collaboration history, and highly praised the fruitful outcomes of their joint initiative—the dual-degree program with the University of Greenwich in the UK. With its high-quality curriculum and diverse career prospects, this program has become a benchmark model of China-Malaysia higher education cooperation, providing an efficient pathway for students from both countries to pursue further studies and career development.

Focusing on talent cultivation, academic exchange, and cultural dissemination, both parties further engaged in in-depth discussions and reached multiple consensus on expanding cooperation areas and enriching communication formats.

In the future, both parties will continue to consolidate their comprehensive cooperative relationship, focusing on high-quality joint professional development, youth exchanges and visits, and the sharing of educational resources, working together to further deepen educational and cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia, injecting new momentum into the development of education in both countries.
