On April 19, 2026, a delegation from the China Office of the Malaysian Association for the Promotion of Education and Culture visited UMPSA University in Pahang, Malaysia to hold discussions on talent cultivation, academic exchange, and industrial cooperation.
UMPSA, as a top public technical university in Malaysia, has significant advantages in fields such as chemical and petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, and electronic and electrical engineering. Leveraging the resources of the East Coast Industrial Belt, UMPSA has achieved outstanding results in the integration of industry and academia.
Both sides have reached a series of consensuses on the joint training of engineering talents, the construction of training bases, and the promotion of Sino Malaysian dual degree programs, with a focus on professional co construction, teacher-student visits, joint scientific research, and Sino Malaysian service certification cooperation.
