On February 1, the Malaysian Association for Education and Cultural Promotion was invited to visit UNESCO in Hong Kong, where both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on potential cooperation opportunities in the fields of education and culture. Feng Kaileen, Secretary-General of the Malaysian Association for Education and Cultural Promotion, and Dr. Li, representative of UNESCO in Hong Kong, introduced their respective organizations' key priorities and resource advantages, followed by constructive discussions on multiple potential collaborative projects.

During the meeting, both parties unanimously agreed that Malaysia and Hong Kong have vast potential for collaboration in promoting educational innovation, cultural heritage preservation, and youth exchanges. By integrating their high-quality resources, they can further expand cross-regional cooperation, facilitate knowledge sharing, and enhance cultural interaction. This dialogue also established a long-term communication platform for both sides, paving the way for future concrete projects in areas such as teacher training, student exchanges, cultural exhibitions, and academic research.

Secretary General Feng Kailin said, "This exchange has opened up a broader international perspective for us. We hope to use our international resource networks as a link to connect more countries and regions, and jointly promote the development of education equity and cultural diversity." Dr. Li also pointed out that Hong Kong, as an international hub, can actively play a bridging role to assist Malaysia in connecting with global UNESCO network resources and promoting the implementation of sustainable development goals.
This meeting marks a substantial step forward in educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions. Both sides look forward to building a long-term partnership through continuous interaction in the future, injecting new impetus into cross regional cultural exchanges in Asia and even globally.
