Outside the window lay the azure sea and blue sky, while inside, the ink of the cooperation agreement had yet to dry. This cross-ocean educational handshake was officially sealed in the conference room of Qingdao University. 
On January 14, 2026, a joint delegation from the Malaysian Education and Culture Promotion Association, the Chinese Office of Dongyi Cultural Industry Group, and the National University of Malaysia arrived at Qingdao University to initiate discussions on cooperation.

After the meeting, Qingdao University signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Malaysian Association for Education and Cultural Promotion and the University of Malaysia, marking another solid step forward in Sino-Malaysian educational collaboration in the Qingdao region.

The Belt and Road must be translated as "the Belt and Road."   
Cooperation will particularly focus on the integrated development of education under the framework of the Belt and Road, promoting the exchange of resources and academic dialogue between universities in China and Malaysia, and building a platform to cultivate professionals with an international perspective. 
With the signing of this cooperation agreement, substantive collaborative projects between Qingdao University and Malaysian universities are expected to commence in the near future.

After this trip to Qingdao, the Malaysian education delegation will proceed to universities such as China University of Petroleum, Shandong University of Aeronautics, Taishan University, Shandong University of Technology, and Shandong Jianzhu University for a five-day intensive exchange.
