As one of Malaysia's five premier public research universities, the National University of Malaysia ranks 126th globally and 27th in Asia in the 2025 QS World University Rankings.
The Malaysian Education and Cultural Promotion Association, affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Kuala Lumpur dedicated to promoting educational and cultural activities as well as exchanges among young students.

During the meeting held at the Qingdao Research Institute of the University of International Business and Economics, representatives from all three parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation in the education sector and ultimately reached a clear agreement on collaboration.
At the event, the Qingdao Research Institute of the University of International Business and Economics signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Malaysian Association for Education and Cultural Promotion and the University of Malaysia.

The ink on the document was still drying, yet it already outlined a clear picture: Malaysian students will come to China to study Chinese economic and trade knowledge, while Chinese students will travel south to Malaysia to explore the ASEAN market. Researchers will collaborate across borders to tackle shared challenges.
The lights of the National University of Malaysia Library and the window shadows of the Qingdao Research Institute of the University of International Business and Economics are about to be connected through this agreement, forming a knowledge corridor that spans the seas.
